Is it really that much of a hassle to check things before making a wrong assumption?

I reposted two pieces here on Tumblr and for both I asked and obtained the artist’s permission. My goal is for people to go check the original and leave a like if they have an account (Twitter/X specifically) not raising my like count.

Anyway what irks me is the tone, they could have said “have you asked for permission to repost?” instead of “don’t repost without permission” a subtle but substantial difference

Don’t worry I didn’t feel attacked it’s just that sometimes I’m reminded how on this platform in particular you have to spell things like you were talking to little babies sometimes. It’s probably why I stopped using it for so long. It might be better going back to just like/reblog mode

omg i just read lyca's line compilation i'm laughing at your side comment about romeo making a forgery and profit out of lyca's painting then remembering episode 8's sketch on romeo IT'D BE HILARIOUS IF YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT IT (my humor is shallow and just the thought of it made me giggle lmao bye) poor boy unknowingly making money from a hobby but hey! at least it proves he's GREAT at it

IT'D BE INCREDIBLE IF THAT WAS A FORGERY THAT HE HAD LYCA MAKE. . .he would've had to have the canvas damaged for legitimacy because the canvas in that outline picture is pretty scuffed but. . .it'd be amazing if he actually started teaching Lyca to forge art and Lyca was just having the best time making art for his new friend and Romeo's just like.

But yeah that'd really prove how good of an artist he is! Maybe Neros gave him lots of art tools? Since he can't write or read. Then again we don't know how good he was at Romanian compared to Japanese.

I assume most everything being sold at the auctions will be anomalous in some way. . .but also I wouldn't be shocked if they were selling other things. Especially with the whole 'strip you and put you in a cage' thing.
