In An Representative System Where The Only Way To Gain Legitimacy And Autonomy Is To Be Represented By

In an representative system where the only way to gain legitimacy and autonomy is to be represented by a group or a person.

It makes it easier to attack or manipulate others, cause a group would be more resilient than a small group or a single person.

An attacker need simply discredit the representatives to attack the whole group

And a simple misrepresentation will force the whole group dependent on representation to spend a lot of time and resources to defend their representatives to repair the damage, for they need to voice that their representative is not representing they said that he was and they do not know who heard the attackers misinformation

And it can be used as a diversion as irrational misinformation can’t discredit a representative at once, but it gives time as the group will be busy dealing with it, when the attacker can attack something of more importance

A group heavily dependent on a representative is open to exploitation from their own representative and he in turn have the authority to denounce you, saying that you are not enough of what you should be

We have created a really powerful communication tool but we still can’t represent ourselves?

Sounds bad, but didn’t Eurocentric modernism also give us our great democratic ideals of equality and liberty to elevate and protect us?

Maybe these notions are not really our salvation, suggests Kanth. He notes that when we replace the vital ties of kinship and community with abstract contractual relations, or when we find that the only sanctioned paths in life are that of consumer or producer, we become alienated and depressed in spirit. Abstract rights like liberty and equality turn out to be rather cold comfort. These ideas, however lofty, may not get at the most basic human wants and needs.

The Eurocentric modernist program, according to Kanth, has four planks:

a blind faith in science; a self-serving belief in progress; rampant materialism; and a penchant for using state violence to achieve its ends.

In a nutshell, it’s a habit of placing individual self-interest above the welfare of community and society.

for when you lose all relationship from society the only connection remaining is that of your feelings towards the world

This means so much more to me for how I finally understood what it meant

It is the symbolic, the real, the imaginary

The symbolic (relationship) gives the connection between the real (world) and the imaginary (self)

And I heavily suggests to watch ‘ Understanding Disaster ’ by pause and select on YouTube a 4 part series

Economists must be the one profession behind the most deaths, why? We simply can't afford not doing this.

Freedom is created by rules

we can think of a world where there are no rules and can imagine that it would be an opressive system

so we need rules to prevent opression so we then can have some freedom?

Rules of freedom, freedom from rules

I think there is something very wrong with how we see freedom
