After watching the new Person of Interest episode and getting inebriated on 12 year old whiskey after the fact because FEELS, I decided to do a prelim sketch of a series of pieces inspired by the new episode. There’s more characters I’d like to add later, so we’ll see where this takes me.

[Obviously, this is a work in progress.]

Reese = Rook [in a castling move, the rook can switch places with the king for defensive purposes]

Finch = King 

‘Root’ = Queen 

Shaw = Knight [one of my favourite chess pieces <3, also best used against queens IMO]

Fusco = Bishop

Lemme know if there are other characters you think would work well as chess pieces!

The visual depiction technically goes against the ethics of one particular character in the show but I’m sure he wouldn’t argue too much on the metaphorical comparisons.
