Affogato walked through the Palace gardens a hand against his stomach. His head was filled with the sound of the wind in the trees and he could not breathe properly due to his unborn child's body placement. This was the first time Caramel had allowed him outside since his pregnancy announcement, even now she was hovering over him her Draconian eyes scanning for any sign of distress as if she would never let him push himself even stopping him from doing his job as the royal advisor. The doctor had advocated for him stressing the importance of exercise during this pregnancy so she felt no choice but to follow through.

"For the love of all that is holy, can you stop breathing down my neck?" Affogato asked turning his head to face his spouse.

"Sorry, sorry, I just don't want anything bad to happen you're breathing heavily and we've only been walking for five minutes, do you need to sit down?" Caramel asked immediately taking his hand and leading him over to an unoccupied bench under a tree near one of the ponds.

"Here, put your feet up and get some rest, we'll come back after you've calmed down." She ordered before he could argue.

"Damn it Cara I'm not made of glass, your big ass baby is taking up too much room and my lungs can't expand as much," Affogato huffed crossing his arms in a pouty manner. He glared at Caramel who couldn't help but rub his stomach gaining a reaction from their unborn hybrid child.

"Looks like we'll have a strong watcher on our side," She said while taking his hand holding it close and kissing his knuckles.

"Or a very stubborn one," He muttered, his voice still laced with annoyance causing Caramel to giggle.
