That was the only word that could describe the feeling that this place gives me.

Pain.

Suffering.

Darkness.

Loneliness.

Hopelessness.

All could be combined into this one word.

Black.

The large chains barely hold my abused legs as my capture leaves the room. I know what will come today. Today I am going to be sold. The fact that the someone will use me as he pleases in ways I don't ever want to imagine is 100% probable. I won't even be a person as soon as they take me away from this place. At least here, I have some semblance of freedom, no matter how little. But out there, I have no control over what will happen to me. 

Like I would ever let that happen.

I pause my breath momentarily, shifting my ears to hear outside my cell. After a few moments of eerie whispers of the breeze and no signs of human life, I sigh a breath of relief. Now is my chance, and it might be the only one I get. I must find a way to escape no matter what. Before they come for me. 

I tug as hard as I can at the chains surrounded my bony ankles. The weight I have lost in the time spent here is unimaginable. I feel like a mere shell of my past self. But, right now, the fact that I have lost so much has aided in my escape. My captures neglected to think to tighten my cuffs as I slowly deteriorated. Their ignorance is to my benefit now. 

After a few minutes of rubbing my ankles raw with the metal, I finally manage to slip free of them. I quickly rub at the torn skin, trying to sooth the pain quickly before pushing it down, ignoring it so I can finally escape. I will not let any amount of physical pain stop me from escaping this hell I am about to be thrust into. 

I stand on wobbly legs for the first time in... I don't even know how long. Time doesn't seem to work here. Hours pass into days, days into weeks, until everything is just a blur. I hold the wall with my cuffed hands to keep my balance as my unsteady legs try to hold my weight after so long. The muscles of my body try to fail me from underuse, but I still won't let them fail me now. 

My head is throbbing and my vision blurry from standing upright after being sat down for so long. The blood rushes to my head and limbs at such a fast rate that I almost collapse on the spot. 

Staring down at my wrists, I wonder if I should take off the cuffs or if the pain is worth it. I only have a limited window of time before they come to get me, and I am mobile enough to escape without taking them off. But, will the inhibit my chances of escape, or slow me down once I'm out? Or, even more of a possibility, stop me from fighting if anyone does come?

The only thing keeping my sane was the singular window shedding a small bit of light into my cell. My only means of escaping this place. I decide against taking off the cuffs, I can climb out and run without it. I look up at the windowpane before pushing with all of my might. After a few moments, the creaking gets louder and the rust causes the bars to weaken. The wooden frame crashes into the alleyway with a loud bang, causing me to freeze in place. I turn my ears, listening for humans an any signs that I alerted them. 

I hear some guards mutter amongst each other, heading in the direction of my cell. My heart beat races as I quickly scamper out of the window, managing to cut myself in many places along the way. 

The small slices sting in the wind as I finish crawling out of the window. Before being able to stand up, my shirt gets caught in a screw in the window. I tug it free just in time to see the guards. Their eyes widen as the see me. Everything becomes a panicked blur as the try to unlock my cell and scream for the boss and other guards to help them. I quickly turn my back on the window to the warehouse just as they get the key in the lock. 

And for the first time in forever... I run.

Your entire body stiffened as if you had just been drenched in ice-cold water. You could feel the tell-tale scowl already forming on your face, your features twisting in annoyance as you took in the sight of Kim Seokjin’s smug face. His dark, slightly wavy locks fell loosely around his stupid forehead and he was dressed casually, in a plain white t-shirt, further accentuating his unnecessarily broad shoulders. Light wash jeans hung low on his hips, the material of the denim tugging around his ridiculously toned thighs. Not that you were admiring him. No. You would never admire your greatest rival. Which is exactly what he was. Your gaze fell back to his face, his nose slightly scrunched, luscious lips pulled into a half-smirk and eyes shining with mirth.

So I'm trying to switch from wattpad to tumblr

Wattpad is dying bc it's being stupid. Idk why but it's so hard for us writers, so I'm transferring the two stories I started there onto here slowly and writing up the one shots and mini series that I've wanted to write for a while up on here.
