the fact that none of the Eternals even changed their names to fit in, I just--

Thena, Gilgamesh, Makkari, Ikaris, Ajak: Off in the middle of nowhere not really interacting with humans so that's fair

Druig: Literally a cult leader, he can have whatever name he wants

Kingo: He's a movie star, people probably assume it's for dramatic flair, also fair

Sprite: I mean if I met someone like her and she introduced herself as Sprite, I'd just assume they were nonbinary so that's also fair. but still where's your last name

Sersi: Ma'am you are an official professor at a college, why do you not have a Fake Normal Human Last Name

Phastos: Sir you are married with a kid living a normal life in the suburbs, why do you not also have a Fake Normal Human Last Name

the words “my beautiful, beautiful makkari, did you miss me?” will forever live in my head rent free. im afraid i won’t ever be able to be in love because that just made my standards even higher

ETERNALS SPOILERS

naur because with like 3 minutes of screentime, drukkari managed to give us two of the best grumpy sunshine serves

we got a “grumpy who turns into a big ball of smiles and happiness when his sunshine is around” serve

and a “sunshine who will become your absolute worst nightmare if you hurt her grumpy” serve

they did not play around with this trope 😭😭

Okay we got our “touch him and i end you” moment from Makkari when Ikaris tried to kill Druig.

But for the next part of Eternals (or any possible spin-offs) I want Makkari to get hurt or something and I wanna see Druig go absolutely feral. Like he did jokingly brag that he can control the entire human race but what are the actual limits of his powers and how far can he actually go? Also his boxing abilities? Would love to see him throw punches.

During the last arc of the movie, Druig was the one supposed to mind control Tiamut and stop it but was obviously interrupted. Because had he done it, he would've officially become the strongest amongst his group of Eternals. But that wasn't what the creators were aiming for and he was set aside (just like Gilgamesh and Kingo).

At the Amazon, Sersi's powers had evolved, which simply means each of them is capable of evolving.

And so, what if Druig's powers evolve too? What if he is able to control Deviants or any kind of living beings? In the comics, he is known to be kinda sadistic, figuring out his opponents weakness and manipulating them with his telepathic abilities.

In the comics, he was even a KGB member and indulged in torture, as well as has superhuman durability (which is possibly one of the reasons he didn't die in the movie due to Ikaris laser-beaming him) 🤔

So just, in a possible Eternals sequel or any spin-offs, I want to see Makkari get hurt or attacked and Druig going absolutely berserk to kill for and protect her. And its not simply about getting a big Drukkari moment, its about Druig's growth and evolution. Just like comics, MCU Druig has a lot of potential which I hope is explored in later projects..
