I don't really love the idea of Viktor becoming horribly scarred/disfigured by Jinx's rocket. Mostly because I don't care for the fact that most of the characters given harsher scrutiny by the story are nearly all disabled one way or another. Characters like Silco, Singed, Jinx, Finn and the chembarons are all either physically disabled, mentally ill, scarred, or some combination of all three.

Obviously Viktor started off the show with a disability, it's just that his condition will worsen in a way that coincides with his morals becoming more dubious is a bad look. I know all the characters are supposed to be complex, but the narrative gives a light handed critique on Piltovan characters compared to it's Zaun cast, at least in the first season anyway.

Almost every ep on season 1 starts with a flashback... I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened on season 2, but with the flashback set during the timeskip

Oooooo yeah and like… in season 1 they were all establishing scenes: subtly giving us backstory and setting up major character traits for each person who got a flashback.

And then in season 2, the flashbacks are de-establishing scenes: contradicting those character traits and showing us how each of those people betrayed themselves when stressed by outside forces. Cuz reusing a storytelling motif could be stale, so they’d have to mix it up—we showed you the pillars this character is built on, now watch them crumble muahahahah.

Which seems very on brand for this show, tbh.

No one's going to talk about how Powder and Viktor share meltdowns down to the most micro expression? Okay

The posing down to the FRAME is almost identical

Both are trying to destroy their respective torments. This hurts.

What's even more devastating is that we have already seen the way Powder met her demise with her bomb... now we just have to see how Viktor meets his with the hexcore...

I love this show but part of loving it is crying over the details like this 😭

We should really expect a Storming of the Bastille type montage next season. For very obvious reasons, Stillwater is squarely in Zaun's territory.

The council didn't even have the prison built on the border, it's literally all the way behind Zaun (bottom left corner if the map). I'm not even sure how they'll maintain jurisdiction of the place once Zaun's independent. Caitlyn had to take a boat from Piltover AROUND Zaun to get to it.

I can definitely see Zaun establishing blockades on the river to prevent Piltover from aiding the besieged prison stringhold.
