Rewatched that Ekko & Heimerdinger clip and I'm pretty sure that was the same hall Sky last walked down when she was going towards the lab. All that to say, Ekko and Heimerdinger are about to do some swiping. Which is a pretty funny parallel to season 1 when Jayce and Viktor were trying to sneak into the lab room to work on hextech. Wonder if Harold is still patrolling.

EKKO!!! AGHH I MISSED HIM SO MUCH
Though we didn't get to see Mel in the Arcane s2 trailer, we got her in the s2 poster, which leaves you to wonder why they withheld that. Whatever the reason, I'm looking forward to seeing how the show handles the way Mel survived the bombing. More curious now than ever before.

Almost every ep on season 1 starts with a flashback... I wouldn't be surprised if the same happened on season 2, but with the flashback set during the timeskip
Oooooo yeah and like… in season 1 they were all establishing scenes: subtly giving us backstory and setting up major character traits for each person who got a flashback.
And then in season 2, the flashbacks are de-establishing scenes: contradicting those character traits and showing us how each of those people betrayed themselves when stressed by outside forces. Cuz reusing a storytelling motif could be stale, so they’d have to mix it up—we showed you the pillars this character is built on, now watch them crumble muahahahah.
Which seems very on brand for this show, tbh.
