Anyways today on a whim I recorded a version of “Waiting for Superman” by Daughtry, the Supercorp version: “Waiting for Supergirl.” The lyrics are the same in a lot of respects but I changed the pronouns and added a few lines specific to Lena Luthor and National City that made sense syllabic-wise. It actually came out really awesome sounding so I filed for a derivative work license so I can put it on the internet and not have some publishing company pull it down randomly, so hopefully I can share it soon! It’s pretty raw so far with piano, acoustic guitar, and vocals but I might add more to it. I’m trying to do at least one project in my studio for my pure enjoyment this month so fandom songs might become a thing! (If anybody has any ideas or wants to collaborate)

does anyone else just absolutely love the trope where lena is explaining something to kara and kara already understands it / knows even more about it (because of her advanced kryptonian knowledge, of course) then lena is like wow... that was hot ok um wow hi
