btw im painting with gouache rn and it is so fun once you understand how to mix the colors and apply the right amount of paint. I remember the first time i did gouache and how frustrating it was to not know how the paintstrokes would be until it had dried, or ruining stuff by reactivating the paint etc. but now i know that gouache works best for coloring styles with more cel-shaded looking rendering. It isnt oils. Start with diluted base color and gradually use less wet paint.
