It's crazy that these strikes are happening given that all the writers and actors are asking for is less than 0.3% of the revenue these studios make.

ok riptide fans i have a question here. does anybody else just imagine us, the audience, being a bunch of little pirates who are just like..big fans of these three fucking insane pirates. like this is probably the least original take i've ever had but i've always just imagined that every fan is just a little pirate sailing along and just fucking cheers anytime they see these pirates in the news. Like, "oh look! the newspaper! Wonder whats new! HOLY SHIT THEY'VE DONE IT AGAIN."

no but really, like 

i know that some folks love telling creative people that “you should be doing it for fun because you love it not for the compliments” but creative people thrive on feedback whether it’s critical or just complimentary

so when i write fanfiction and don’t get any actual feedback i feel like i spent all that time and energy doing it for nothing because i’m not getting feedback from the people i wrote it for 

doing something you’re proud of and then presenting it to the sound of utter silence is like the worst feeling on earth 

On second thought, I’m going to keep doing the inktober but post it either when I feel like it in the month or all at the end or both
