i cannot believe that it’s been TWO whole years since i first started on the journey of writing one of my favorite characters of all time. it’s been such a rewarding experience being able to be the voice behind brooke penelope davis through this blog. i remember back when i first made this blog, i was terrified that no one would be interested in writing with me. there was no oth indie community & i was afraid that writing a character without an indie established fandom would mean that i’d be struggling the whole time – & for a while, i definitely was, but i stuck it out, because writing brooke was so important to me. through writing her, i improved upon my writing & really learned how to get into a character’s head. i began to understand the nuanced differences that each season of oth gave us with her personality, her development, her relationships, & so much more. i already knew how brilliant of a character she was, but having this blog made me appreciate her that much more. so first & foremost, this is a THANK YOU to EVERY SINGLE PERSON that follows me – anyone i’ve written with, all the way down to those who simply watch, like the occasional post, etc. without all of you, there’s no way i would’ve made it to this incredible milestone. THANK YOU ALL. you have no idea how much it means to me that you all allow me to keep on writing this brilliant, beautiful & brave woman. brooke might’ve changed the world, but she’s also changed my life for the better !!  now – on to some more specific thank you’s. below is a collection of blogs, ranging from some of my nearest & dearest all the way to those who inspire me & continue to be such an important presence on my dash. please don’t take offense if you’re not on this list. i follow so many blogs & all of you are so important to me in different ways. this is only a small sampling of that group !!!

ℰ | sigh, soft. - a thoughtful set of slender fingers digging trenches through  sunlight highlighted  just twisty-twirled honey curls. palm braces against the grain of the door.         “ no ---                                --- you’re right                          it won’t    -------- “  theres no use arguing,  not with vivienne   the very personification of a brick wall.  & long, quiet,trying to something with not a thing at all.     edge of lips will curl just so.       “ i’ll play with your hair ---                 & tell you how beautiful you are. “ 

long silence,   thinking it over. twist it  this way & that, hunt out flaws, traps, tricks in the    solution.   fingers   curl  around the         doorknob but do not  unlock, not yet.    glares hard into the door; she cannot unable    locate any hidden  barbs but isn’t yet convinced that none are THERE. & she’s resistant to the proposal for other reasons, as well.
