Robert can see with all his eyes, but he can't see everything at the same time, his brain focuses on what he needs and ignores the rest.(how our brain ignores our nose in front of our eyes).2. In general, he sees everything in black and white (this has nothing to do with octopuses, I understand that octopuses do not see the world in black and white, but only distinguish between light and shadow), but there is one color that he can see, but I will not say which one Because it's a spoiler, lol.

I didn't find a name for this type of color blindness, so... there probably isn't such a thing, so I won't talk about it.
