i love how Pearl, from the moment she joined Hermitcraft, has committed FULLY and COMPLETELY to being a public servant of all things. That girl joined probably the most prestigious server you can be invited to, looked around, and said "Very nice builds, but you aren't giving the roads here a fair suck!" and then pulled up her sleeves and WENT AT IT. in s8 she was Head of Infrastructure for Boatem. s9 she was the Cleaning Lady and now in s10 she's Postmaster.

I think she'd lay curled up like a dead spider in a corner somewhere if she wasn't allowed to do public service. Madwoman.

I love how in doc's episodes, he's this mastermind. In everyone else's episodes, he's the petty villain. But in etho's episodes, he's a big softie.

when i came out as trans i had an old friend from my church days message me to congratulate me and ask me for my name and pronouns. and i was shocked tbh cause he was such a head-deep-up-the-church’s ass kind of guy so i was super wary.

and after digging a little deeper i found out that he was very supportive of transness, saying that trans men are men and trans women are women

BUT

he also believed in the church’s gender roles meaning that trans women had to marry men and be submissive wives and trans men had to marry women and be strong christian husbands.

which is like ????

if anyone wants to learn to draw wings better, i wholeheartedly recommend this tutorial / wing anatomy explanation. (and i know it seems kind of long but. trust me. it's so good. i say this as someone who usually can't hold attention enough to have any patience with tutorials.)

i think it's the first thing that finally made things click for me and i am now much much happier with the wings i draw <3
