Something I find really amusing about the reaction to the Ahsoka trailer is the amount of people saying “Omg my favorite war criminal is back!!!” And the war criminal in question is Chopper and not Thrawn

Rex exhaled He could see them in his mind's eye: both possessing Ahsoka's impish playfulness that sparkled in her eyes, stubby lekku and tiny montrals, the amorphous white markings on their faces slowly turning into patterns and designs. He would teach them what his trainer — mother, she was his mother — taught him. Raise them as Mandalorians, as she did him before the Prime drove her from Kamino. Rex swallowed thickly. A sudden paternal desire possessing him, wanting to make those children real too. "Marry me." He took her hand, squeezing her fingers. Ahsoka smiled, impish and mysterious.

"Oh, Rex," she said, cupping his cheek. "We've been married since that faithful day… in a sense." He blinked, confused. She leaned forward, kissing him in that slow aching way that made his heart clench and his loins stir. "Togruta mate for life. Du ke'leh, du d'bhem, du yau."

Oh. Rex smiled slowly. "Then marry me," he said again, kissing her knuckles. "Mando style."
