My name is Alex, and I decided to go ahead and make a side blog specifically for more sims-related stuff! My main blog is actually a lot of sims stuff, too, but... it's also a mix of other games, and I honestly didn't feel super comfortable making a 'new simblr' introduction post there, considering that it's not strictly a sims blog, and I wasn't really sure if that would be a community faux-pas or not. I decided to make a simblr and a simstagram with the same username: simbrilliance!
I've been playing the Sims on and off for years now -- I'm about to be 31, and I think I got my real start playing the Sims 2 way back in like middle school -- I got introduced to it at a friend's birthday/sleepover party, where we were all gathered around her family computer and saw a Sim get abducted and then have an alien baby, haha. Quite the intro for 12 year old me.
I'm not sure exactly what kind of sims content I really plan on posting, but I definitely want to post some. I like posting pictures of my sims being cute, though I'm not sure that that counts as a category of sims play style. I'd like to maybe try posting more gameplay, or storytelling, maybe, but I think I like to color my pictures too much to be considered gameplay, and I don't think I actually tell enough of a story for it to be considered storytelling.
Still, could be fun to try!
I am currently in the middle of trying to create my own save file that is populated entirely by sims of my D&D and other TTRPG characters! It's been a lot of fun so far, and I'm using it as an excuse to try and get better at building, as well as playing around in CAS!

island update - im working on some layout stuff thats been annoying me but am still so happy on my new island💛🌾 fall in acnh is seriously the best im glad i just embraced that(a little early but you know its fine😅) and im moving in Cole as the last villager on the island!🐰 i might let some of my villagers leave eventually but for now i wanna do interiors for everyone💛

part of quen and rhian’s job as investigators of magical mysteries and mishaps means that they’ve got to sit down and do their research sometimes. there are always myths and legends to look into, as well as potential matters of arcane histories that may help them in their investigations. but nothing is wrong with taking a little time to cuddle in between all the research, right?
