You Know That Little Voice In Your Head? The One That Says Not To Vote, That Your Vote Doesnt Actually
You know that little voice in your head? The one that says not to vote, that your vote doesn’t actually matter?
Someone - a Republican if you’re in the USA - spent millions of dollars putting that voice into your head, and they’re sure as hell going to be voting.
Make them waste the money.

Clover is much more comfortable for recreation than grass anyway.
I get really annoyed by posts like this:

Like, I totally understand what they’re trying to say and I am as anti-big-prestige-lawns as the next lefty but where they messed up is that on the left are (oversized) lawns on which you can theoretically play soccer, have a picnic, set up a kiddie pool, go sunbathing, and on the right are landscapes that don’t allow for any of that, or at least not comfortably.
And that’s bullshit. It is totally possible to keep a level recreational-friendly space AND create a healthy habitat for insects and native plants that doesn’t require watering or fertilizing. Depending on where you live, that can look like one of these:

or something else entirely. But, like, ‘lawn’ and ‘biodiverse space’ can co-exist actually. Space used by humans and space used by nature can be the same space, if we’re a little bit smart about it.
Don’t mind me, just saving this forever.

Just in case you forget this exists.
It exists.
Random Owl House thought: Palismen mostly take the form of Human World animals. But between Eda’s reaction to possums and Hunter’s to wolves, it seems like Human World animals are considered mythical beings. Which means it’s basically the equivalent of having a dragon head on your witch’s staff.
Then we’ve got Willow and her ‘totally mundane’ hummingbee.
Do you still say “Mood” when it’s more of a state of being?
