Omigawshhhh I LOVE your Safe story so far - I am such a simp for mafia stories I cannot HELP it and I am invested 😅 also I’m a nurse and I seen where you said you relied on Google but really you aren’t very far off at all on how to treat a stab wound outside a ED, I was impressed!! Blood loss is complicated because there’s so many different levels of severity some just need a saline bag some have to have a transfusion etc etc but it was a pretty good depiction of what should happen. It’s a great story so far!! Can’t wait to read more.

ANON!! This is such a relief because I second guessed pretty much every syllable of that entire sequence of events lmao. I used to work at a Uni and every year we would have state police and EMS come in and give us a very basic training on giving first aid to trauma victims in case anything bad ever happened so I tried to use a bit of what they taught us in addition to the things I Googled (things I had a very hard time comprehending lmao) so it means a lot that you say this!

I twisted my ankle because last night at 1:30am I remembered I didn’t take the garbage to the curb and they’ve been collecting it at like the hairy ass crack of dawn - so I got up and went outside to take it down but I’m scared of the dark and live in the middle of nowhere so I was freaking… and then Penny started growling and I heard something snap a twig and I turned to run back up the driveway and twisted my ankle. It’s just really swollen and no permanent damage but had to share bc I’m so fucking dumb and such a chicken shit 😂😂😂😂😂
