Demons that were the basis of biblical angel and demon myths alike. Demons that fell in love with humans but didn't know how not to break them, starve them, drown them. Demons that spawned every frightened whisper of the Fair Folk and the unseelie. Demons with eyes too sharp and limbs too quick and demons that sometimes forget to breathe and stand too still. Demons that stare too long and don't blink. Demons with thousand-year old faces that are hard to look at directly.

His mate, his lifeline.. his everything. And asher argued back he couldn't do this without him. How He needed his everything to live? That even if he didn't need David the pack did.
