One Of My All Time Favorite Details Between Sonic And Knuckles Is How Protective Knuckles Is Of Sonic,

One of my all time favorite details between Sonic and Knuckles is how protective Knuckles is of Sonic, whenever Sonic is in danger Knuckles never hesitates even for a second to protect his buddy, even when it may hurt him instead.

Sonic OVA gif; Knuckles glides down and swoops in to save Sonic from falling right before he hits the ground.
Sonic Riders gif; Sonic looks off at the distance and Storm rapidly hover to him from behind, but Knuckles jumps into action and punches Storm out of his hoverboard.
