The tension, the chemistry, the unknown background that connects them somehow, you vividly pictured & described every little detail – it's so beautiful. They've got such a long walk ahead and there's probably much progress to be made between the two of them. I mean, it doesn't even feel like a drabble, it's more like a teaser to me that has me already thirsting for more OMFG!!! 😭❤

A/N: okay this is really pure enemies rather than enemies to lovers, but the potential for romance is there 😂 i might end up making a part two but really have no idea when bc i already have so many wips and will need to come up with a whole plot to match what i’ve written here loool. 

i haven’t proofread!! (it’s 2am sorry). also, the banner image is from vikings and in my head, that’s the kind of au i’ve pictured in my mind (idk if anyone’s seen vikings or not!), so it’s not the typical big castle kind of royalty au. the song i listened to is shum by Go_A – it’s eastern european (not northern like vikings) but fits in with the mood for this pretty well (particularly the chase part).

“The King is dead!”

Thunderous applause follows, hoots and hollers all rejoicing in your father’s death, with weapons being thrust into the air in time to a chant of freedom. The man with the eagle tattoo, dressed all in leather and gold atop the makeshift throne raises a hand, asking for silence. The crowd follows through… 

Then comes the command you feared the most.

“His daughter still lives! Find her for the sacrifice and you will be rewarded!”

The sound of metal being unsheathed sends shivers down your spine, and it’s the threat of death that keeps you on your feet, moving as far away as you can.

But they’re everywhere. Men and women, warriors and farmers alike, all searching endlessly for you.

Oh man, I'm not mentally prepared to say goodbye to them 🥺❤ I mean, I'll have to... very soon but damn! I just know this fanfic will be one of my all time favorites – the emotions it made me vividly feel is something I'll always remember, and ofc I'll be coming back to read it whenever I feel like missing it.

You've no idea what you did, but you've written a little universe with some of the most phenomenal main characters that it makes me constantly think of this; if the dynamic with my future husband isn't like the one that aoy!jimin & oc have, then I don't want it, lool. I enjoyed every single moment (even the intense ones). It's one of those storylines that touches on social issues and makes you contemplate the situations, instead of just enjoying the story. I love your stories just because of that. Each one of them touches on different issues and the way you do portray them –vividly describing the little details to unfold or twist the plot– is so captivating that you can't help, but feel & experience all those problems as if they are your own.

I cried again while reading the chapter, but this time with happiness. It was soothing and heartwarming, just what we all needed after the last two heartbreaking chapters.

“Great, father’s full name and date of birth please?”

“Uh, Park Jimin.”

You’re fiddling with the hem of your dress, so you miss the way Sol’s eyes widen and her head perks up, but she quickly resumes her professional persona as she asks, “Sorry, could you repeat that, was it Park Jimin?”

Somehow I sensed that Sol would probably know Bong-cha (tbh, I thought she's related to her like a sister or smth... 😅 but best friend, it is!) I've been having a feeling that Bong-cha would help them be together again since that embarrassing dinner at Deok-su & Eun-ae's house, and so she did. I can't say that I didn't feel bad for her though. She was so brave to tell Jimin the truth about oc's pregnancy and step away. It must've taken everything in her to do the right thing considering her feelings, she really deserves so much and I'm sure one day she'll find someone who'll be willing to give her the world.

“Are you okay?” Eun-ae asks concernedly. 

“I’m fine,” Jimin answers, a smile growing on his lips. “I’m better than ever actually.” His grandparents continue to look confused, but for the first time as Jimin stands in front of them, he feels no pressure of wanting to please them, so he easily says the following words… “I’m not marrying Bong-cha.”

Deok-su frowns, as though he expected this, but Jimin ignores it and carries on. 

“The wedding isn’t going to happen, and I’m going to Y/N right now to tell her that I love her and I’m not leaving her.”

“Jimin,” Deok-su sighs, his guilt still heavy on his shoulders from the past weeks. “We’ve been through this—“

“I’m not here to ask for your permission,” Jimin interrupts, tone as stern as it’s ever been with his grandparents but he doesn’t care. “I’m here to tell you. I’m going back to Y/N, and one day, I will ask her to marry me, and she will be my wife, if she’ll have me.”

I praised oc when she stood up to Deok-su and now it's time to praise Jimin as well cos that was brave. My poor baby finally realized that it's his decision of when and who'll get to marry and no matter how much respect he's got for his grandpa, there's still some parts of his life that Deok-su can't & doesn't have the right to control.

Eun-ae is officially in the list of my favorite supporting characters along with Geun-woo, Pil-woo & Gi, yay 😊

And seriously?! All this time Deok-su was afraid of Jimin hurting oc the way he hurt his own wife or was he afraid of Jimin destroying himself by being with oc because he thought she was a stupid crush of his, just they way he left Eun-ae for a stupid crush?! Either way, his excuse doesn't do much of a justice to me but whatever, thanks grandpa for making the right decision at the last minute & letting Jimin go to his love... can't wait to see his reaction about oc being pregnant with Jimin's child (if he ever finds it out tho 👀🤷‍♀️)

OMG GEURLL!!! 🥵🥵 Look, I'm not pregnant but my hormones aren't okay after reading that smut, hot and gentle at the same time... I mean, HOW?! We love a loving boyfriend and a caring daddy, Jimin!
