i've started doing some early work on what i hope to be my first original character cartoon...based off of cryptids!!!
hopefully some real work can happen on it sooner than later hehe, it will be voice acted, so thats something different from what i'm used too😅(and hopefully original music too??) we'll see!

Hello everyone! Good morning, afternoon or evening depending on when you see this post. Honestly, the direct that the creators of Monkey whench had with those of Lackadaisy (I hope I wrote it well) was fun! even though I didn't say much in the live X,D So after the live show I thought of the silly idea that both Shrike and Beebs were preparing to be interviewed or something stupid like that and well, this drawing came out. If anyone is wondering, the girl is another OC created by me, her name is Candela (or Cande, whatever you prefer to call her)

Wade: Yeah you guys are definitely gonna have to get that part replaced….
Beebs: What do you mean we have to replace it?? It’s been working fine!
Wade: You need you replace it because it’s filled with GREASE. Pizza Grease to be more specific.
Beebs: looks at Shrike with an angry face

I mean no disrespect to prior toads OK? But this lady has to be the cutest toad I've seen all summer. Looked and felt like a little ball of dough. VERY CUTE FACE! Tiny, unimpressive hops & no reaction to being lifted for pictures. Moved her off the trail and she just sat there. Amazing specimen & perfect in every way. I'll remember her forever

Ref sheet Comparison of my Angel character Artemis. First Ref sheet was done in Nov 2021, he had no jawline. Whenever I would make a drawing of him it would always feel wrong to me or I just didn’t like it in general and I wouldn’t finish the drawing. I never realized how long I actually drew my character’s necks before but I see that now and I laugh every time. The second one was done in May 2022, I finally ended up giving him a jawline and I felt so much better about drawing him. I also ended up changing his hoodie design as I felt his old one was too basic looking. I learned how to draw necks and bodies better so he’s not as skinny as he used to be. These ref sheets are still kinda old as it’s already 2023, but I’m still proud of myself because they show how much progress I made in 7 months. Of course my art style is different now so he would look very different if I drew him again. But again as I said, it still makes me proud of myself.
if you had to choose an already existing song to represent/describe each of the Monkey Wrench characters, which songs would it be for each character? (weird question, i know)
