growing up with someone that tells you how many calories are in each food and how many you already ate, to don't lay down right after eating because you will get fat, to eat less because you are gaining weight and more actually made an impact of my perspective of my own body. so I think its because you have someone constantly telling you how horrible you look because of your weight. I moved out, now I live in a different country than my family (because I love to travel and experience/learn new cultures) but still have that voice in my head constantly telling me all that
