I hope 2018 is gentle and kind to you. I hope you get to rest from the pain and suffering of breaking through your shell and begin to experience the bliss and joy of blossoming. I hope you are kind to others, and I hope you also remember to be kind to yourself. I hope you are able to heal from everything you’ve been through the past few years. I hope you are able to let go of all the pain you’ve been carrying in your bones and in your heart. I hope this is the year that makes you so grateful you’ve kept going through the nights you thought you couldn’t make it. I hope this is the year that will make you say it was all worth it, all of the pain you’ve felt and dark times you’ve been through. I hope this is the year you rediscover your light.

dude... i'm loving the soul society so far. are we spanning each boss' recollection of how they lost their souls to the devil and then recounting their fights against the boys in full, or will that second half be cut down a bit? or is this going into a completely different path? i'm definitely not complaining either way. keep up the great work!

Some have requested it, so here’s the isolated gif of King Dice’s rotoscope that I did for my “Zazu Zazu Zay” animatic. (<<< link included)

I cranked this out in about two days, which made me happy. It’s 140 frames even, running at 10 frames a second in the video. (Storyboarding the whole song took me about two weeks.)  I notice all of the flaws, but this is the first time I’ve ever done an animation of this size, rotoscope or not. (The last fluid animation I remember doing was about six frames.)
