anyway shout out to nam joohyuk and kim taeri for pouring their hearts and souls into yijin and heedo. no one else could have played these characters and bring baekdo to life like this. they are a pairing that i never expected to be this beautiful together, but now are a standard i will hold others to. 

thank you for blessing our screens for the past 8 weeks. i will now be contacting every working director in south korea for a reunion project. 

taeri and joohyuk both said we do not claim the ending. they’re just like us. 🤝

lmfaooooo i just read her interviews (for those not aware she basically said she told the writer to keep changing the ending and she felt super sad that baekdo ended like that) and she's SUCH a mood. and joohyuk crying while filming the "congrats wedding" thing........baekdo nation we continue to live on okay.

No I definitely don't have a bias-genre when it comes to kdrama. Really, I'm open to anyth-

*ahem* *clears throat* umm... Hear me out... I can explain....

"this drama was sad from the very beginning. since i already knew the ending, even the bright part felt nostalgic and sad. i was sad and heartbroken when i saw the ending.

still, i think the audience gave us a lot of love because na heedo and baek yijin were so pretty. during pre-promotion, we called it "the story of everyone's first love" but it was much more beautiful than that. the relationship between the two was so special and beautiful that i wonder who has ever had such a first love. heedo was really lovely and baek yijin was a really warm person.

i think that's why people who support the two naturally wanted the story to end in marriage. if i were part of the audience, i would have too. i'm sorry to everyone who gave us so much love. i'm sad too."

i never thought i would be thankful for the total miscasting of the older ‘heedo’ but you know what- i’m actually grateful that they cast a different actor because it’s so much easier to just be like- that woman ain’t my heedo.

my heedo is happily married to one baek yijin and they have kids and she has gold medals and he is a successful reporter and they still eat slushies together in the summertime and hoppangs in the winter. heedo likes both red bean and veggie and yijin dislikes the veggie one but he still takes her half and gives her his half because he loves her.

they go to the beach too- and each time they do- while they watch their kids play in the water- yijin comes close to her ear and whispers gently, i love you. i am loving you.

They were phenomenal 🙌🏻😫

maybe the word “FOREVER“ was meant for memories not people

Baek Yijin really saw her in his dreams and cried. Na Heedo really passed out when she had endured all those years of training because she regretted the things she said. “600 days is nothing to the time we have ahead.” They said they’ll come to that spot every year but it ended up being their only trip there. Life never gives Baek Yijin a fucking break and now he has to lose the only person who brings him joy. “If youre the one waiting at the end of my misery, all that misery is worth it”. Na Heedo relied on his faith in her to become a World Class Fencer but now her support isnt reaching him anymore. All of this started with a simple promise to chase happiness together and it all ends in heartbreak and tears. They loved each other with all their hearts but it simply wasnt enough. They still root for each other as outside observers of each others’ worlds but they havent spoken to each other in seven years. They were the greatest love story of each other and nothing exists of it anymore
