I Just Hate How Everyone Seems To See Leona As Less Than He Actually Is. Neji, Who Was Surprised To See
I just hate how everyone seems to see Leona as less than he actually is. Neji, who was surprised to see his skills in the Bead Brawl. Vil, who was slightly offended when Leona could see trough his act and know he was injured (pretty sure the only other person who could have done that was Rook). Everyone comparing him to Malleus in spelldrive even though Malleus is practically a god with how magically powerful he his (of course he won’t be able to win?!).
Like, give the boy a break, would you?! He is so intelligent and talented. I’m pretty sure he could ace all his classes if he actually gave a damn. And let’s not forget about Vil’s Overblot. Remember when everyone came back to the scene, just to realise that the settings had all suddenly disappeared and there was not enough time to do it all again before the show? First off, Leona was the only one who thought of saving them in the cloud and, second, he obviously knew that something big happened for that to happen. Did he suspect it was an Overblot? I don’t know. But he was clearly suspicious of something.
Also, all the insights he gave Jamil during book 6? Helping him see that he could actually take his place and didn’t have to jump in front of Leona all the time? But also helping him think of how it was for Kalim? That money was power and Kalim was learning to use it?
All the chess references he gave during the new event and his opinion on how to develop his country to avoid having more people live like Ruggie his forced to live.
I don’t know… I just felt really upset about how people looked down on Leona in the new event and I needed to rant. I just feel like, if people stopped treating him this way, saying that they’re surprised of something almost basic or that ‘of course he would do that’, he would start showing that he cares about things and people. Because he does. God knows that boy cares. But what’s the use of putting himself out there if anyway people are going to give him backhanded compliments?
Edit: I forgot something in my rant! What’s up with the way Neji and the guards address Leona? Do they talk so freely with Falena? Will they talk that way too with Cheka when he’ll be older? Or do they just do this with Leona? Because, as far as I’m aware, Jamil didn’t address Leona that way and no one acts like that with Malleus (except us, but we didn’t know, and Lilia and Silver, but they’re his family). So what’s up with the disrespect, uh people??
Also, do we know what caused Leona’s scar when he was a kid..? Because I’d be curious to know which fucker did this to the poor boy!

As a fan of Imagine Dragons, I’m already obsessed with their new album. However, this isn’t about them. One of their new songs is ‘Gods don’t pray’ and, for some reasons, it’s really giving me Scaramouche/Wanderer vibes. As in, it’s both about him and he’s the one to sing, depending of the moment of the song. Anyway, moving on, I said what I had to say. Have a good day!
Ok but can we all agree that the hair at back on Jamil’s neck started standing the second Leona asked where ‘that guy’ had gone? His Kalim senses were tingling and he did not like it. Honestly, I’m surprised he hasn’t shown up yet. I was half expecting him to run across Sunrise City like his life depended on it…😂
Octavinelle Mafia
Azul took after his mother, who took after her mother, who took after her mother and so on. Seeing as the leaders had always been women, they came to be known as The Sea Witches. Unfortunately, when is was time for Azul’s mother to conceive a girl to take over, she was only able to get a boy. She wasn’t unhappy about it, she loved Azul more than anything else. It’s just that she couldn’t have any more children. You see, the first pregnancy went horrible and Azul was so premature it almost killed them both. And, so, the tradition was broken. Azul took after his mother as the first male leader in generations. It had been so long, no one remembered who had been the last man to lead Octavinelle, if there ever was one. Because of that, to mark the beginning of a new era, the boss’ title changed. Azul wasn’t known as The Sea Witch, but as The Sea Merchant. The name in itself wasn’t too far off from what it had originally been. The ‘Sea Witch’ title had come from their business in alcohol. It being illegal, the ‘Sea’ referred to the depths of their market, which was an underground activity hidden inside their very legal restaurant. The ‘Witch’ referred to the alcohol in itself. To not be as obvious in case they were to be found out, they started calling their concoctions ‘potions’. There were stress potions, and happiness potions, and whatnot. Therefore, changing ‘Witch’ to ‘Merchant’ wasn’t exactly wrong. After all, Azul was a merchant, just not a very legal one.
Jade and Floyd’s parents were very close to Azul’s mother. This meant that the twins grew up with him. They were always together, but, even though they would die for one another, if asked, they would still treat each other as nothing more than an investment. It was better to act cold hearted than to show weakness. Even though everyone knew better.
Jade is Azul’s right hand man and he is the one in charge when Azul absents himself. Still, no one would dare question an order coming from Floyd and, rather to Azul’s dislike, Jade tends to listen to his brother’s every whim. Therefore, even if he trusts the twins in the long run, he prefers to take decisions himself when it comes to their alcohol business. It would be a shame if the law ended up with their noses up somewhere it shouldn’t be. Azul likes taking part of every single interrogation. After all, he never misses a chance to make a deal. However, he isn’t the one to lead said interrogations. Jade is the one that asks the questions and Floyd reacts depending on the answers. If it’s not what they wish to hear, such as an insult or a lie, Floyd won’t hold his punches, but, sometimes, he will still hit even if the answers are satisfying. This is because of his extreme mood swings. When that happens, Jade tends to smile or even laugh. Azul, however, isn’t as pleased. If the guy was talking, that means he could have been open for a deal. A deal he won’t be able to make if he doesn’t have any teeth left.
So obviously the housewardens are the bosses of each mafia and the vices are basically the ones on command when the boss is gone. But there are some exceptions:
-Cater has just as much power as Trey when Riddle is gone;
-If my memory serves right, there’s no vice in Savanaclaw, but Ruggie basically takes the lead when Leona is gone (like in book 6);
-There is also no vice in Ignihyde, but since Ortho is Idia’s little brother, he is basically the little boss.
Also, you know the titles of each book in the game? Like The Rose-Red Tyrant and all? That’s basically the bosses titles.
