a/n: after finally reading blue lock, I have become obsessed. I love it, so much. And I went to fuel my love for my faves and the manga with some lovely fics, only to read all the ones I could find in less than a day. SO! I am here to fill the void. First up, the very first idea to pop in my head when I decided to write a fic for bllk. Lowkey would want to make this into a multi-part story but for now this is it.

Five days ago, you would not have expected to be hiding behind fallen shelves in an abandoned convenience store like a frightened animal. And yet, here you sat, cowering beneath empty metal racks, trying not to step on crushed chips and popcorn bags, with nothing more than a metal rod grasped between your fists.

The store was silent aside from the distinct sound of footsteps. They were muffled slightly, but you could tell there was more than one pair. How many of them would you have to fight off to get out of here? You shuddered at the thought.

very stubborn and aggressive, you always have to try and stop him from fighting people. It'll be for little reasons too; someone butted in the line? he's throwing hands, someone bumped into you guys? he's throwing hands, someone dared to breath the same air as you? throwing hands (jkjk he's not that crazy)

Ikari likes to show off, any time and anywhere. So best believe, he's going to take you anywhere that allows him to show case his skills.

he likes physical affection although he hesitant to show it. Not that he doesn't like it, but it's been said he gets ally blushy when seeing exposed bodies ( like when he told tsukuyomi to cover up) he prefers acts of service

by no means is ikari yaoroshi a homework person, but if you're struggling he'll either a) offer to help, his term of "help" would just be sitting next you or he'll read the content out loud for you) b) tell you to forget about it or c) drag you to Jin for help, since clearly Jin's the smartest?

it's been stated that he's not the type of person who can read the room, so if there's something bothering you or he said something he shouldn't have at the time; just tell him or he wont get it

loves when you complement or praise him for something, wither it be his hair, brow piercing, his technique or anything really. He get's rlly happy ofc he won't tell you, but damn does it make him feel good. ah but do it too much and you'll burst his ego 😑

we know he's lost friends close to him as well, expect he hasn't openly stated it. So he might not bring up it, just because he doesn't want to make you uncomfortable but again if you suggest going to thier graves he'll be shocked but happy none the less

By the time it’s the summer before your first year of high school, Monoma’s cheekiness and competitiveness have slightly cooled down. You wonder if he’s finally maturing. But most of the time, he’s still the smug scoundrel who loves to test your limits. With both of you living in a small, cramped town, you run into him often, much to your annoyance. Because of this, you know almost all teenagers in the town, possess friendships with many of them, so you aren’t too worried about high school and the challenges it may have.
