Okay, I Read This And It Was Amazing!!

Okay, I read this and it was amazing!!

In case you missed it! I published a novella called Worm in a Jar, about a witch-in-training who accidentally summons a mischievous demon from the shadows and must find a way to send them back home. Here’s some praise for Worm, compiled from Amazon & Goodreads reviews:

The perfect scoop of a story! Very gay and cute, gotta love a transgender worm demon and grumpy witch… Pick it up :)

Loved every sentence of this book. Pigeon has a wonderful way with words that let them flow incredibly naturally, and Malee(the POV character) is wonderfully characterized by them.

This is such a cute story! The themes of wanting and love and belonging are so touching. Worm is an absolute sweetheart, and Malee’s sass and attitude make it a delightful read.

I really enjoyed reading Worm in a Jar. It’s short and sweet. Worm is so lovable and such a trans icon!

If this appeals to you, you can read the first chapter & buy it here!! Reblogs are always appreciated 🖤

if you get this, answer with 3 random facts about yourself (or your book/oc) and send it to the last 7 blogs in your notifications, anonymously or not!

Oo

1. @pagesofcursive and I are working on a true love triangle for a short story type thing that I came up with ages ago (that ends like the clue movie because we're both incredibly indecisive)

2. I found out the perfect words to describe Fera's aesthetic: bi pastel plant mom

3. My main trio have two levels to their powers, and only one of them will use the second "tier" by the end of book one

Ive Been Seeing A Lot Of Anti-Nazi Ones, Which Is Great, But I Felt Like We Needed One To Show Our Support

I’ve been seeing a lot of anti-Nazi ones, which is great, but I felt like we needed one to show our support for the Jewish community.

Thank you @ashen-crest !!

Is there a genre you'd like to try writing in, but are afraid to?

Mystery. I am very blatent with most things in my writing, there's no suspense or buildup. I don't read a lot of those books, but the ones that do have an element of mystery are so intriguing.

What's the easiest part of writing for you?

Banter between characters. If they have good chemistry, I can write pages and pages of dialogue with them

I'll tag @pagesofcursive, @writing-is-a-martial-art and @wannabeauthorzofija for these questions

Where do you struggle most in character creation?

And

What's your favourite thing about your writing?

Writer Questions Tag

Thanks for the tag, @sparkles-and-hens! Here were the questions I got:

What’s a word that you, no matter how many times you write it, cannot spell?

Caribbean. (I spelled it wrong when I typed it here, too- it’s only one r!)

And,

Have you ever completely lost faith in yourself as a writer? How and why?

Hmm. I think it was late high school/early college, as they would have coincided with, you know, my horrible bout of low self-esteem. That probably had something to do with it.

Tagging @ettawritesnstudies and @apocalypsewriters to answer the following questions (if you want!):

Is there a genre that you’d like to try writing in, but are afraid to?

and

What’s the easiest part of writing for you?
