Thing is a legendary sword. It can cut through anything. But the problem with it is that it can, but it doesn’t have to. If they like an object, they won’t break it. If they like a person, they won’t hurt them, no matter how hard the wielder tries to make them. Even though they don’t speak or have a humanoid form, they definitely have a mind of their own, and a very stubborn one, at that. They can also express emotion without having any parts useful for making expressions.

I adore all this parallels!! Somehow the last scene feels so much more chaotic and frantic with mostly dialogue! Once again, your writing is phenomenal

So I’m re-tooling the scene where Emry and Aspen meet, and Emry is just- going off and shouting out some parallels to later events that I didn’t think about, and I’m just- I’m so proud of my boy, he’s really bringing it today.
