Leo really likes rocks. Not crystals but rocks. He has a stash in bunker nine. When he's bored he likes to order the rocks in different ways like dolls. He names the rocks but forgets the names and gives them a new name each day.

Leo pierced his own ears while he was on the streets. He couldn't really see what he was doing so he didn't realize that he was bleeding until the next morning when he felt a searing pain in his ears.

I really gotta reread this series, it's like my roots.

You know what's so great? Ares is well known as a huge asshole rule breaker/criminal. But he is SO in tune with people's emotions and is so seamlessly good at comforting/helping control the environment to be comfortable for Gregor. But where would someone naturally aggressive and abrasive like Ares learn that let alone have it become second nature?.. Well. He was bonded to a heavily traumatized/fear driven teenager.

I like to think Ares learned it when dealing with Henry. They wouldn't be the type to show weakness in front of anyone. No tears, no fear, no distress. But Ares learned to pick up on it and how to be strong for him in a different way than just flying fast and beating people up. He showed Henry his hideout so the poor kid could get some space.

How long did you think Henry was working for Gorger? Was Ares his safe place for a bit? Did they get along as equals before Henry got nastier or was he just like that? When did Henry start leaving Ares out of things and ordering him around more, or was that always how it was?.. Did they bond before or after Henry's parent's death?

Was Henry shallow before and picked Ares because they'd help him be a brat and win batball games and make him look cool? Or did Henry latch onto him because he felt safe flying with him. That Ares could protect him? Like how Luxa flew with Aurora because she didn't feel safe on he ground. Did Aurora tire in the beginning and Ares would fly with her too? A broader back for the nine year old to fall asleep on? Did Henry not like the ground for a long time either? Is that why those two flew so seamlessly even compared to other bonds we see except Luxa and Aurora?
