I was stressed so I made some sims 🌈

EDIT 26/05: they’re now up for grabs!! I guess I’ll call them Akira, Sunny, Sapphire, and Sage. because colors 😂 I used my default eyes and skin so they’ll appear differently in your game. Accessory meshes are included.

these were made using ratboysims’ Submarine Eyeshadow as a base, so full credit to them 😊. The models aren’t wearing any other makeup. Available for both genders, teen to elder.

Overly Bright CAS Fix

Fixes Sim parts being too bright in CAS on modern hardware if they were made without tangents or if you’re playing with useshaders on false. Replaces ancient and unsupported fixed function shaders with pixel shaders to achieve this.

If you have this issue, chances are there’s no point in playing with useshaders on false - it actually performs (and looks) worse, but it will still fix items that appear like this in CAS even with useshaders on true.

Personality-based Proposal Animations

+ Trait mod version!

With these mods, proposed sims who accept and have at least 7 outgoing points and 8 playful points will jump from excitement and then leap to hug their partner, regardless of their gender. With the trait mod version, any sims with the excitable trait in their inventory will do this too. Other sims will use the more composed animation that was originally only enabled for males.

Both versions are included with the download. Only use one at a time!

Download (SFS) - Easy Inventory Check is required for the trait mod version only. Both versions conflict with @midgethetree’s Engagement Proposal Animation Mod, which makes proposals always use the male animations.

Yeah… As I said I was unhappy with previous colors, so I tweaked these eyes a little bit more.

List of changes:

> colors - new version of eyes has a little bit more depth to them,

> slightly smaller iris,

> pupil is moved 1 pixel to top,

> I added more options to default of dark blue,

> I added pngs with eye textures in case somebody want to edit them, or in case you can’t tell from swatch which color is which.

I used old files (v1) to make this edit, so you can’t have both of them in the game!

These eyes were already converted by @falkii​, but I wasn’t really happy with their cartoonishly saturated colors & iris sizes, so I decided to take a look at them myself.

My colors are inspired by color palette used by @poppet-sims​​ (and so the genetic values), but I just hand painted them how I wanted. I used a sclera blend by @dreadpirate​​ extracted by @digitalangels​​.

There are 21 colors total. I included custom, gen/town & default versions, but keep in mind that I used exactly the same files for custom & gen/town versions, so you can only have ONE of them in the game.

CAS Memory Equality Mod

Thanks to some advice from @midgethetree​ on which resources to edit, which I literally received just now, I’ve been able to fix something that’s bugged me for years: the fact that, even with mods like “pregnancy for all genders,” “have child not adopt” and “same-sex marriage,” when you make a same-sex couple in CAS they will still get the “joined” memory as well as “adopted child” if they also have offspring. That ends today! :)

With this little mod, all couples created in CAS now get the “married” memory. They will also get the “had child” memory rather than “adopted” if they are created with children. Thanks again to Midge for the advice - without her help I would have spent hours looking at the wrong resources!

The moment I saw @mdpthatsme’s Jeans with Mosch Boots, I wanted those boots as pantsless bottoms. Yeah, there are conversions of Pixicat’s Docs (like here), but something about *these* boots…maybe it’s the shinier texure? I don’t know. Now, a year later, I’ve finally got the energy to learn new things again. In other words, I shoeswapped for the first time!

TS2 ULTIMATE COLLECTION ISSUE: DOES YOUR GAME HIDE ALL THE NEIGHBORHOODS AND CRASHES? HERE'S HOW TO FIX IT !!!

I was confused but i wanted to test if i still can create new neighborhoods    and when i tried this happened.. The game crashed.

I went right away to my documents folder to see what was happening, and my 

“EA Games > The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection” folders were missing completely.

I thought maybe a Windows 10 Update had move them to:                           “Local Disc (C:) > Users > Public > Public Documents” folder.                         But no. Nothing there.

I uninstall the entire game (BIG MISTAKE, DON’T DO THIS. YOU CAN RESTORE YOUR GAME AND YOUR CC’S WITHOUT LOSING THEM!!            I HOPE THIS TUTORIAL CATCHED YOU UP BEFORE YOU DO THIS!!)            And I re-install it again. (With my origin account) After 2 and half hours when I opened my game it had the same issue… This time i thought it was origin’s fault and I pressed update game and after that, repair. YET nothing changed. So I uninstall the game once again.

So I tried other ways except origin to download the game but it just didn’t work at all… Until after many tries I decided to give another chance to Origin..                  But this time I was starting to understand the main issue.. I was like it’s not that my neighborhoods that are missing the problem.. ! BUT the game does not generate the document folder AT ALL from the start…!!!

So I googled: “The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection does not generate document folder” and I saw that another person had THE EXACT SAME ISSUE.

i opened it and i prayed for this person to have found the solution! and IT DID had the solution at the second page at the last reply of the post !!!

So Yeah not long time ago I had changed my pc’s locale to Japanese because I needed it for one program that I am using. So by then this happened !! I am glad thesimmer14 found out that was the cause because I would never have guess it.

When I changed the locale back to my previous one (Mine is Greece but for you guys it will be US or what country you had at locale before you change it), The game opened normally and it generated the documents folder right back !!! no needed to re install it or nothing it just fixed it!

Don’t try to change the locale again after fixing the game tho. Even if it has regenerate the documents folder, the game will not open.

Moune999's aclove seating retextured in @shastakiss' pirate & cluedo woods. The fabric is repo'd to jonesi's bed blanket. I didn't do any recolors of the blanket, but there are tons around. These meshes have new guid's so they wont conflict with moune's orignals. Please pick up @hugelunatic's fixed version of the blanket here if you don't have it already. Compressed as always.

Garden Flowers Visible in Neighbourhood - DEFAULT replacement

There have been a few instances of people improving the appearance of lot imposters in neighbourhood view (or when on another lot) just recently.  So I thought I’d join in and actually release these - they’ve been hanging around in my Downloads folder for well over a year (if not longer).   Don’t you find it irritating when you build a lovely garden on a lot like this:

And then this is what you get when you look at the lot from the neighbourhood view.

With these default replacement mods, you get this instead:

What these little defaults do is force the game to use the on-lot mesh (i.e. the regular mesh) of the basic flowers in neighbourhood view so you can now see the flowers in the imposter.  The files are tiny and can be dropped in your Downloads folder.  To see the effect though, you need to go into a lot, make a small build change and save - to force the game to update the lot imposter.  I usually either place a floor tile or build a segment of wall.  You can undo the change immediately - it doesn’t matter - all you are doing is convincing the game there’s been something changed and it needs to overwrite the last save and make a new imposter.

There are 18 files here: defaults for the half-size flower beds and full-size flower beds for the 9 basic flowers that come with a full version of the game:

I found the perfect hair for Ava Cadavra! This is Nouk Lolita retextured in Remi’s V3 colours and textures + a custom shorter, black with purple bangs version. The naturals are all ages but the Ava recolour is available for teens-adults only.

I’m back with yet another skin for you all! This will be the last skin I make for a while as I’ve run out of steam lmao. Anyway this is a blend of various mouseyblue skins blended with parts of lilith’s apple pie v1 skin. The base is mouseyblue’s palm skin in brulee, and I also blended a little bit of a lip by noodlesims. They’re custom only and come in 6 colors.
