Four fucking dragons destroy the city, we don’t know who even survived, the party barely makes it into their keep...then they just turn against each other for that fucking skull thing! Grog getting a natural one while trying to destroy the skull but fails because he sees Pike disappointed in him...

And it only gets worse when Allura arrives and practically drops the bomb on them and how both of their party are responsible for it and then keyleth freaking fire family is dead?!?

Don’t even let me get started on the twins they had so many good moments in this ep like:

“Do not go far from me, if you’re out of earshot you’re too far from me.”

“Do you think this is what mother saw before she died?”

vex taking her brother’s hand when he talked about killing krieg.

also. i understand if they didn’t have time to include it

but if you haven’t watched c1 and you’re just watching the legend of vox machina, in episode 3, between vax losing consciousness and vex having a gut feeling vax is in trouble? i need you to know that this happens bc it’s just. such a good character moment

(also when vex gets there her first two arrows both crit)
