Lemme explain:

So I’m replaying and I noticed that the first time Cove says “see you tomorrow” is at the end of step 2 (at least based on the choices I made)

But the first time it ever comes up? You can say it to Cove in the moment ‘sandcastle’

Basically Cove adopts the phrase after jamie, who does indeed keep their word and see them pretty much every day 🥺🥺🥺
