You’d have to be more specific about what exactly you’re thinking of. If it’s just a matter of a specific pattern of scales on the tail, it wouldn’t affect the price. If you wanted more complicated details like big spine spikes or a fluffy tail tip, we’d have to have a non-anonymous conversation to figure out how your desires compared to my capabilities.

I got some anodized titanium scales, and I made them into bracelets! I went for a mixed assortment of colors, so I could see which ones I liked enough to stock. And I in the meantime, I rather like this randomized aesthetic. It reminds me of over-saturated art of the aurora borealis or of galaxies.

I already decided to stock the green, which I posted previously. I’m thinking of also getting the rose/magenta one and the bright teal/purple one. I like the bright, inconsistent colors. The yellow is also pretty nice, but I think I have enough options for yellow as it is.

about how long dose it take to put one full length tail together ?

At this point, it takes me around 10 hours of solid work to assemble a tail. Usually that’ll be spread out in chunks of a couple hours at a time, over about a week. If I try to chainmail for too long at a stretch, it’ll tear up my hands. In periods when I’ve been really consistent about working on lots of chainmail, I’ve developed some really funny callouses.

Codpieces! At long last!

I made these over a year ago I think, but hadn’t managed to get photos of them, and hadn’t decided whether to post them up online. But I just figured, screw it. Time to post these. It’s not like I’m planning on running for public office or anything.

Now I’m the guy with multiple codpieces for sale on my Etsy.

One of these is my usual vegetable-tanned leather, with a red stripe and black stitching. The other is the same black motorcycle leather I used for the chaps and the Magic Meat Week costume, with lots of rivets.
