A Released Captive Amani Hashem Embraces Her Son Adam And Returns To Her Family After Spending 7 Years
A released captive Amani Hashem embraces her son Adam and returns to her family after spending 7 years in occupation prison. She shared her experience in the interview.
What stuck with me is when she said: "On the rare occasions the occupation would allow family visits, they would let me see both of my kids but only hug one of them. My kids were so young they didn't understand. I'd hear the younger one saying: "Why didn't mom hug me too? Does she not love me?" That's when I realized the limitless of the occupation's evil. They stripped me from seeing my children grow up, I'm getting to know them from the beginning now."

"do you see how there's no sound of any planes? there's a truce! wallah when I heard about the truce I got so happy. but it's temporary, 4 days only. oh god, I wish things get settled in these 4 days and it becomes an eternal truce. wallah life is beautiful like this without the planes. I got so happy, wallah guys I'm so happy "
“you don’t like the proliferation of terms like Unalive outside of TikTok because you realize that you’re aging out of youth culture and it makes you uncomfortable!”
no I don’t like it because there’s something INCREDIBLY dystopian about being forced to soften terms for basic parts of the human experience like death and sex (and even more so terms for oppressed minorities- call me a “le-dollar sign-bian” and I will bite you) purely because advertisers and corporations demand it

Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.
I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻
