Jirus Rewrite: Chapter 1

Jirus Rewrite: Chapter 1

The avenue was dark, snow shadowed the streets as some streetlights illuminated the spots dimly. Vehicles were littered everywhere, dull colors were painted on them, being blanketed with the cold, white snow. A blonde ran across the lifeless street, eyes attentive to their surroundings as their body continued to run, dread filling them as yells of zombie-like species echoed across the whole carriageway. Tension high as the towering structures and cold atmosphere made them feel small and trapped, a fever dream, as they’d like to call it.

The bear hybrid twisted left and right, their legs were aching and their vision looked foggy, they were desperate for freedom, as the Jults wouldn’t leave them alone, and everything appeared unknown. They then soon stopped in their tracks, realizing they landed a dead-end. “Cornered…” They muttered, eyes wide as they heard the heavy footsteps getting louder. Their head spun all over the place, looking for something to hide, sweat came down like bullets, breathing unsteady as they stumbled.

They then braced their self for the inevitable, realizing they were cornered. They shut their eyes as they sighed heavily, breathing erratically as they shivered. Despite their remaining hope, they knew very deep down that there was no way out, so they sighed, again. Giving up.

Without knowing it, they felt something warm envelope their pelvis. They yelped, their eyes squeezing shut as they could feel the air crashing down on them. They opened their eyes, realizing they were in midair with their savior. Screams and yells were heard from below, their tone was fury, causing a shiver run down their spine.

The savior softly landed on top of a building, carrying the blonde in bridal style. The blonde in question blinked in surprise, looking at their savior with their wide obsidian eyes, jaw dropped as their ear twitched. The breeze overtook the awkward silence between them, forgetting the Jults who were just chasing the blonde.

“Uhm,” the bear hybrid scanned them, realizing their species, they raised a brow.

The savior looked to be an Arctic fox hybrid, their hair was white, reaching halfway through their chest area, and their skin was pale like snow. They had a dull blue scarf, a black shirt accompanied by a brown winter coat, they wore black ski pants, having no footwear because of their fox legs. They had fingerless gloves, holding their warm body tightly, “h-hello?” The bear greeted, waving a bit. The snows ear twitched, ocean eyes looking at the blonde's obsidian. “... Hi.”

The two creatures continued to look at each other, both interests filled them, the existence of the other made them be in apprehension. “I… My name’s uh, Uhm, Mystic, you?” The fox started, tilting their head, curious. The blonde perked up, blinking. “Oh! Uh, yeah, uhhhh,” they paused, “my name’s Goldy- no, Go- Golden. My name’s Golden.” They put off an awkward smile. “You, uh, you’re quite warm.” Golden chuckled, Mystic's face reddened a bit. “Wow, uh, thank you?” Golden giggled.

Mystic sighed, putting Golden down. The blonde stumbled a bit, then balanced themself. “So uh,” Mystic puffed their cheeks, “what now?” An awkward silence filled the spot again. Golden inhaled. “Now what…?” Mystic rubbed the back of their neck. “Maybe we can find my…” They paused. “My… Friends…” They said hesitantly, giving Golden an emotion of concern, brows knitting in confusion.

Mystic shook their head, determined eyes gazing back to Golden, a glint was seen in them, making Golden stare in awe. “They’re fine, I swear.” They muttered. “Let’s find them, Golden.” A determined smile formed on their face, offering their hands to them. Golden blinked, the highlight on their eyes glowing brighter. They nodded, taking Mystic's soft, pale hands.

They both gazed at the full moon in front of them, accompanied by stars and clouds, they held hands as determination filled their once, full of dread heart. Golden sucked in their breath, taking in the view. “Wow.” They murmured, eyes shining like the stars above. Mystic giggled at Goldens wonder.

Me: I want to rant to someone real so badly- AI: Understandable, you want someone who genuinely shows affection for your rantings, am I correct? Me: If only that person exists...

Y'know, I always come to someone online and cling to them if they notice me, you don't know how a simple 'hi' can make me vibrate out of excitement.

Except over time they get 'disgusted'(according to my Social Anxiety) at me for being such a clingy dude, and over time I just... Leave, hurt.

I have no online friend that I can rant to, and I generally just feel lonely that it hurts, a bit.

Idk where to vent but here, I refuse to flood the 'vent' channels from the servers I'm in at Discord💀
