Also Reginald in the past asking them what powers do they have? Seems fishy yk.

So instead of The Umbrella Academy, he chose Sparrow Academy but maybe with powers too? Cause there's no way the Sparrow wouldn't fight TUA gang.

He looks like he create a rivalry between the two.

But the heck, this is just my theory.

Okay, so in s1e5, we see the handler approach Five to give him a job at the commission because she’s impressed with his survival skills. This actually sounds fishy because he’s been stuck in the apocalyptic wasteland for 45 years and she wants to recruit him now? His survival skills must have been noticeably good after 15-20 years and he’s not even at his prime age where he can be more useful.

Then when Five asks her if the end of everything is really necessary, she says, “Not everything.Just the end of something” .End of something. This leads me to consider the theory that the only reason they rescued Five from the apocalyptic wasteland was to make way for a future landing of aliens( maybe?) and the only reason they didn’t kill Five was because he’s too valuable of an asset to waste.

About these ‘aliens’, I think they’re refugees from veggie’s planet.So in s1e10, his dying wife tells him he’s too important to die or something (debatable) and asks him to take the violin with him. Then veggie releases the glowing sparks which are his parasite scouts that automatically land on an inhabitable planet, earth in this case. So veggie follows them and comes to earth.

On earth,they give rise to the 43 kids.Now the reason why he adopted a few of them was to make sure they cause the apocalypse, clearing earth for his planet members.He brought them all together and abused them so much that they all turn into emotional disasters which eventually leads to the apocalypse.Also in s1e10, he smiles when Vanya takes the special violin.We all know the monocle bitch is incapable of genuine emotion, so I think he’s happy because he knows the violin can amplify Vanya’s powers and the first domino has officially tripped.

Why did he adopt the sparrows this time? Because he realized the umbrellas have slowly started to heal from his abuse and that they managed to escape the apocalypse.So he restarted the experiment with a fresh set of mice and better standards of abuse.

Another side theory, I think the commission was founded by veggie to maintain the events leading to the apocalypse.He was probably the one who appointed the handler, another one of his superpowered kids, to indirectly run the commission without giving away his plan.

This is how it started, with Namjoon whispering something to Hoseok, and Hoseok making eye contact with you. Your heart began to pound but you couldn’t look away; you wanted him to know you were interested too.
