The key to any good marriage is respect and trust between spouses. I don’t feel a lot of respect and trust coming from Sam… it’s almost as if he doesn’t respect you at all and seems to hold very little trust for someone he “fixed”. Which is no bueno. Too much control could alienate a partner and make them resentful. Sam needs to have a day where he does whatever Ardent wants! Pamper him, cook for him, etc

He lifts up the toddler resting her on his shoulder. In a few strides he walks up to Ardent kissing him on the forehead.

Sam pulls him into a quick one-armed hug. "I'm going to put Althea to bed then head to bed myself. Feel free to join me after putting Domino to bed."
