Something fun is that spanish people, like me, think of Antonio as an ugly name over it's real meaning, so we use Anthony because English makes the name prettier, and nowadays you'll see that barely 0.1% of the people at Spain has the name "Antonio", and I've even met people who have the name but prefer to be called its English version

Oh wow~! I didn’t know that! I mean the Anthony part. I was aware of the dislike of Antonio since my boyfriend prefers a different name for Spain too. He calls him Leonardo though ^^
