I Know Theres A Lot Going On But ICE Are Now One Step Closer To Literally Creating Gas Chambers. They

i know there’s a lot going on but ICE are now one step closer to literally creating gas chambers. they are spraying a chemical called HDQ neutral roughly 100 times a day, every 15 minutes at the adelanto detention center (one of the biggest in the country). people are getting rashes, headaches, their insides are bleeding, etc. the guards are wearing gloves and masks but the detainees have NOTHING. and here’s a quick reminder - america inspired the nazis to create gas chambers when they gassed latino people during the 1917 bath riots.

here’s a petition to sign. it’s close to it’s goal. if there’s anything else we can do to help i’ll update this post.

So I’ve been keeping track of the Chrystul Kizer case (a 19 year old black woman charged with killing her abuser when she was 17). You can find the full story here: https://nypost.com/2019/12/18/chrystul-kizer-faces-life-in-prison-for-killing-her-alleged-pedophile-abuser-randy-volar/. In case anyone didn’t know:

-her hearing is set for June 8, 2020

-her bail is set for $400,000

-you can keep updates on her here: https://freechrystul.wordpress.com/2020/03/05/some-good-news-for-chrystul/, as well as find resources to support her. You can write her a letter, sign petitions, etc.

-her family has set up a fundraiser for her here: https://fundrazr.com/FreeChrystulKizer?ref=ab_AdkL5uoLQcdAdkL5uoLQcd I’ve been keeping track of it often, but hardly anyone has contributed! This is what it looks like now:

Not even close to the $45K goal. She needs money not only for court and bail, but also for things afterwards, like therapy.

If you could reblog and share this, that would be great!

Marsha P. Johnson

One of the leaders of the LGBT+ movement in America, she was known not only for her strength and bravery as an activist, but also for her boundless generosity. If you complimented an accessory of hers, she’d give it to you.

This is part one in a series of animated portraits I’ve been working on this summer of women I admire!

Support the BLM movement. Black people were the backbone of the pro-LGBTQ+ protests and riots in the 1960’s and without them, we would not have the rights that we have today. The LGBTQ+ community is an inclusive one, and it has no place for racism. We need to be loud and we need to be heard #BlackLivesMatter
