I don't understand why people are mad about tumblr premium existing. I've seen people complaining that they shouldn't have pay for things that they didn't use to.

While you used to not have to pay to not see ads, that was years ago.

The other features are not something anyone had before. One free item from the shop (like a badge) and one fee blaze each month.

Arguments about not paying tumblr anything because of transphobic issues across the site is valid, but I personally want to keep the lights on on the platform I'm already on
