Thought I had a post already with all this information in it that I could link people to, but this seems not to be the case! So, resources for getting started modding DAO. (A lot of these will also help with DA2, due to the similarity of the engine and filetypes.)

Dragon Age modding discord - These days most modding conversation takes place on discord rather than forums, and this is the best way to get some helpful eyes on your project.

DA Toolset documentation wiki - Still a great resource. Always one of my first stops.

Fextralife forums - Back in the day, people were discussing modding right on Bioware's very own forums. Then Bioware deleted the whole kit and caboodle! Thanks, Bioware! Fortunately, fextralife backed up nearly the whole thing. Lots and lots of helpful threads here, if you can find them. As for finding them: the site search sucks. Append site:fextralife.com to your google query instead.
