Two years later, still no justice.

In the middle of the night on March 13, 2020, Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old EMT, was senselessly killed by police as she slept in her own home. Breonna was a daughter, friend, sister, and hero in her community.

Since her death, no one has been charged for her murder. The only semblance of justice that we have seen is the passing of the Breonna Law in Kentucky. But there is still much work to be done to ensure that other innocent people do not continue to lose their lives in the same manner.

Every part of him that had any common sense, any human decency had left the window when he came up with his fucked up idea. 

It only strayed further when he actually went through with it.

You see recently the love of his life broke up with him due to what she said was a “right person wrong time kinda thing” The breakup was hard for both of them. She wanting to find herself before settling down and him ready for the next step. He knew she cared and that’s why she did it but that doesn’t mean it still didn’t fucking hurt. 

She had told him she would wait for him until she was ready to come back. Save herself for him and that he was free to do the same but she didn’t hold him to it. If he wanted to date other people he could. 

At first, he told her he wouldn’t even think of trying to pursue another person romantically to which she gave him a soft smile. 

His vow to her lasted 3 months when he saw she posted on Instagram of her and her recent fling. 

All that bullshit of “right person”,” waiting”,” caring for him” was all lies. How could she sit there in front of him and lie straight through her teeth?

His immediate reaction was to message her trying to figure out who he was and why she looked so cozy with him but he held himself back. The anger subsided into sadness and in the end, just felt alone. 

One night is his own self-pity all while stalking her new boyfriend’s page he thought to himself.

If she wants to flaunt off how happy she is I might as well too.

And thus was the birth of his fucked up idea, his loss of morals, and lack of empathy for others.

He would find a girl, anyone really would do, take her to all of the places she wanted to go to, do all the things she wanted to do, and eventually win her back. 

A week after his idea, he met a pretty girl named Y/n and smiled to himself.
