oh my sweet Channie 🥺 I adore this man with everything in me, so here are my thoughts:

So I think Chan needs someone who can see through the front he puts on. We see it all the time where he places people above himself and has a bad reflection on himself. Y/n would be able to see through it all instantly

Part of me thinks Chan would become more confident with y/n that just knows what he needs. If he comes home super late from the company? if he cannot just get off his laptop? Y/n is there to remind himself to take a break, to eat, to drink water, etc. She knows him better than her favorite book

Y/n allows Chan to be the giddy, golden retriever person he is around the kids. Like if Lee Know or Seungmin reject his physical forms of affection, there is y/n. I think Chan’s big love languages are physical touch and quality time (kind of just assuming as a fellow ENFJ). Y/n never turns down a hug, a cuddle, or any spontaneous plan when Chan is his most energetic.

It’s obvious Chan feels guilty whenever he has to cancel or change plans. But y/n is always there to reassure Chan it’s ok, that ordinary couples have to postpone and reschedule date nights. Chan wants to y/n like treasure, and while y/n of course appreciates it, Chan worries a lot that he isn’t good enough due to being an idol. To y/n, it’s like every other job that places demands and limitations.

I think the moments Chan gets down on himself, y/n is right there to remind him of all his good qualities. I relate to Chan a lot because I hyper-fixate when something goes wrong. Y/n will be able to pull Chan out from his racing mind to reassure him. I’m talking about a lot of breathing exercises, writing sticky notes of what he does well/good qualities that he puts around the house to help him really internalize that yes, there are bad moments but he isn’t a bad person. I also think that y/n and Chan would be the couple to do like couple retreats so there is a guarantee time scheduled where they can grow as a couple. In general, Chan becomes a healthy person thanks to y/n

Channie also admitted on Bubble that he doesn’t take pictures often, like the photo of the kids he reposted this week. I think with y/n he’d be more inclined to take photos of her or abstract photos when they visit places, go out, etc. While I am not 100% if those photos would ever see the light of day, he definitely has a folder in his phone dedicated to y/n. Anything that reminds him of y/n is in there because he just values y/n.
