It's everyone's favorite brainy clone from The Bad Batch! And he's smiling! I think it surprises hims with how it makes him feel when he gets accolades.

Tech: "Execute a sharp swing back to port with zero thruster pull."

Omega: "The Tech Turn?

Tech: "That is not what it is called, but I rather like it."

I love that Tech's not vain about his intelligence. It's simply a fact that his higher intelligence exists. He doesn't purposefully flaunt it to make others feel lesser. In fact, when someone comes up with an idea when he's stuck or can't think of a better one (Omega's able to do this occasionally) he is immediately impressed, and is willing to go along with an idea that wasn't his. I really love that about him.
