I Dont Get People Who Use Normal Weapons In Titanfall. Like You Can Use Whatever You Want, But Doesnt
I don’t get people who use normal weapons in titanfall. Like you can use whatever you want, but doesn’t a CAR get boring after a while? Do you know how fun it is to just fuck around with an EPG? Pick up an EVA 8. Have a little whimsy every now and then.

Is it sometimes nice to have video tutorials? Yes. I can see, frame by frame, what exactly you’re trying to communicate. But if one more YouTuber yaps for the first 10 minutes and then follows it up with “without further ado!” Im going to lose my shit
I am slowly losing my mind over the shift towards video as the default media format.
I do not find this to be an efficient way to absorb information. I am bored and distracted by the time the largely unnecessary introduction is over. I can't use ctrl+f to find the specific information I'm looking for. If there are instructions to follow, I don't want to have to constantly pause and back up to the part I need.
At least give me a fucking transcript.
Against all the evil that hell can conjure,
All the wickedness that mankind could produce,
We will send unto them
Only you.
Rip and Tear.
Until it is Done.

I think God of War: Ragnarok might have something like what you're thinking of
more games need to take advantage of using the post game like a novel would an epilogue. too many games just *stop* once the main conflict is resolved and don't let you sit with it afterwards and see any of the effects beyond maybe a short cutscene. I understand that it is an incredible amount of work for something most people won't even bother noticing (and it's definitely not always necessary), but like. Stuff like the whole "Reunited" backtracking segment in Undertale is wonderful. It really lets you see the impact you left on the game world with your journey. I'm trying to think of more games that do stuff like this because I know there are a decent amount but rn the only other instance I can think of is like, slarpg, but that's more of a guided memory lane trip before the end than what I'm thinking of. I guess even Undertale's ending stuff (although optional) isn't exactly what I'm looking for either.
Listen, i just always got super upset as a kid when I would go and defeat like Ganondorf in Twilight Princess or whatever and then have that huge ending thing happen and then the moment I boot up that save again I'm just outside of the final boss area before it's even happened and everything is locked in that Endgame "go do the final thing" state.

What does the word Genocide mean to you?
For me... the word Sayfo comes to mind.
Sayfo is the word we use for the Assyrian genocide.
In 1915, my grandfather fled his village of Charbash near Urmia in Iran when he was just 11 years old.
The Ottoman Empire took the land from the Assyrians. The indigenous people native to Mesopotamia (where modern Iran, Iraq, and Turkey exist now).
Over 250,000 Assyrians were wiped out by the occupying Ottoman Empire.
Half of the entire population of the remaining indigenous people.
The rest fled for their lives.
My grandfather and grandmother, being two that, thankfully, made it to New York.
Now, Assyrians have no homeland. No country.
An entire ethnic group that has been around for around 3,000 years almost completely wiped out of existence by an empire that no longer exists.
It's just so senseless.
This painting I did of a woman in a Hijab. I have posters of them on my site.

All of the proceeds from the sale of this poster is going to Doctors Without Borders.
I'll sign and ship each and every one of them.
I know it's not much. It won't stop a genocide.
But maybe... just maybe... 100 years from now someone's grandchild will be alive and they can tell the story of THEIR people... and what happened to them.
Sending Big Hugs from the Hobbit Hole. ♥♥♥
