Meowth and Oak are outside in the forest behind Oak's lab. They each hold a clipboard and pen. Meowth looks sad and irritated. Oak looks down at him puzzled. There's a Kakuna hanging in front of Oak Oak: What's wrong Meowth? Meowth: Nothin'. Kinda missing the Team Rocket days is all.
Oak looks down suspiciously Oak: Should I be worried about that?
Meowth is turned away from camera, head hung, ears and whiskers drooping Meowth: No. I just feel like I didn't get a fair chance to show what I could do and prove myself to the Boss. I mean, I'm a talking Pokemon! I could have been so useful!
Oak pauses with concern. Then he smiles as he tucks his pen into his coat pocket. Oak: Heh, well I wouldn't worry about what your old boss thought of you
Oak's hand comes in and pats Meowth's head, to Meowth's shock. Meowth's eyes then get watery as he smiles Meowth: He was a fool to not see your potential.
