vulpes in my mind allows physical intimacy begrudgingly from the other person at first like softer touches and etc and then later on as a relationship develops and intense emotional breakdowns ensue, he opens up the emotional intimate side of him and sad emotional physical intimacy ensues perhaps

i wondered to myself, Arcade Israel Gannon has some pretty unusual names, what do they all mean? 'Arcade' is a word for a row of arches in architecture, coming from the root word arcus for bow in Latin. Arcades are a common feature in Greco-Roman and Muslim architecture, especially religious buildings. it could also mean shopping mall or game arcade, but I think this meaning of the word relates more to Arcade's religious themes

'Israel' is a Hebrew name from the Bible meaning 'wrestles with God' or 'God struggles', used by both Jewish and Christian cultures. JE Sawyer says that this was not meant to imply that Arcade was Jewish, but to signify his struggle with idealism, mirroring Jacob's fight with an angel in the Bible.

'Gannon' is a Gaelic/Irish surname. I saw a claim that the name belonged to early Irish saints but didn't find any evidence to back that up, so.
