You were lying in bed and immediately pretended to be asleep when you heard the front door get unlocked, turning your back to face the door.

You hear him shuffle, probably setting his bag down, in the living room before you hear his footsteps come straight towards the room.

He slowly cracks the door open and you tense up, fists clenching around the sheets that were balled up in your hands over your chest.

You feel him approach you on the bed, the bed dipping at his weight when he sits on it behind you.

You hold your breathe when he leans down and pushes a piece of your hair aside, caressing your cheek.

You breathe a sigh of relief when he pulls away and relax, you think he has decided to sleep as he shuffles a little on the bed.

But then he places a kiss on your cheek and you flinch, a blush creeping it’s way onto your cheeks, waves of emotions hitting you and a lump forms in your throat as you hold back a sob.

However you cannot stop the single tear that escapes your eyes and immediately stains the pillow.

Jungkook stiffens and you're praying that he didn’t see. But he did.

“Y/N, what’s wrong?” he asks as he shifts on where is sat so he can see your face clearly, but you turn over and bury your face into the pillow as you sob into it, letting it soak in all your salty tears.

Jungkook is flustered, he doesn't move for awhile.

But then he gets off the bed and comes to sit on the side of the bed on the floor painfully watching you sob.

“Y/N,” he calls softly as he hesitantly places a soft hand on your back.

His eyes go wide when your sobs only get louder and his hand freezes. But he doesn’t pull away, rather starts soothingly rubbing your back.

After a while your sobbing dies down and the room is silent.

“Talk to me Y/N.” Jungkook pleads as he looks at your still figure in concern.

“It's nothing.”

Jungkook sighs deeply.

“Please Y/N,” he really can’t stand seeing you like this and pretending to be okay. It hurt him to see you crying, especially when he didn’t know why and he couldn’t do anything to make you feel better.

You turn around to face him, you are smiling with a tearstained face.

“A bad dream. That’s all.” You say trying to convince him but he can see past that and your beginning to think you'll break down if he asked you again as you’re struggling to contain the sob that threatens to burst out of you just being so close to him and looking at him.

He nods although he is not done yet. He'll ask you about it later once you’ve calmed down.

“How was work today?” You ask sitting up facing him.

“Tiring as usual. But thinking about you made me feel better.” He flirts with a smirk and you huff.

“Anyways you should go back to sleep. Sorry i interrupted.” He says getting up.

“Jungkook “ you grab his hand abruptly, startling him.

He looks down at your glossy eyes as you hold onto his hand and look him in the eyes.

“What’s wrong Y/N?” he asks as he kneels and settles himself in between your thighs, either hand resting on the bare skin as he rubbed soothing circles on the exposed flesh.

“Do you love me?” You ask and Jungkook raises his eyebrows, surprised at your question.

“Of course I do Y/N, you know that.” He says as a small smile tugs at the corner of his lips.

“Would you leave me for someone better?” You ask as you searched his eyes, looking for any sort of doubt or hesitance in his eyes but he shows none.

“Y/N, There's no one better than you. You’re the best there is. I’m so lucky to have you all to myself and I'm going to treasure you for the rest of my life. I would never leave you.” He confesses while beaming and you suddenly feel so bad and stupid for acting the way you were.

“I’m sorry, it’s just I saw the interview you had and when people kept saying how two have chemistry and would look so good together. They even said how next week an article about how you two are together could come out and I just.. maybe they’re right.” You end as you fiddle with your fingers in your lap, not once looking up at Jungkook, feeling embarrassed and ashamed.

“Y/N.” He calls out his voice suddenly a lot lower and deeper and you can sense the seriousness in his voice.

“hmm,” you hum, not looking up.

“Y/N, look at me. Now.” He orders and you feel a shudder run down your spine at the sudden shift in his aura.

“Jungkook, I know that i-" you begin but you are cut off when his fingers hook under your chin and gently lifts your head up, your lips come together as he swallowed up the remaining of your words.

You are stunned and wide eyed at first, but you almost immediately melt into the kiss, wrapping your hands around his neck as one of his hand comes around your waist to pull you flush against him and the other cups your cheek, your lips moving in sync against each other.

He pulls away, the both of panting messes.

“Jungkook-" you begin but he cut you off, placing his index fingers over your plump lips as he smirked.

“Don't say a thing.”

You look at him for a while stunned as he just stares at you with admiration all over his face.

He suddenly pulls you into a hug and your arms automatically wrap around his slim but muscular waist, head nuzzled in his chest as his chin rests atop your head, one hand around your neck and the other around your waist.

He pulls away after a while and low whimper escapes your lips, gaining a low chuckle from Jungkook.

He cups both your cheeks in between his large hands and sits on his heels so he is eyes to eye with you.

“Y/N. Don’t listen to them.” He says with a warm smile and you nod .

“I don’t care what they said, it doesn’t mean shit.” He continues as he kisses your forehead and pulls away to rest his forehead on yours, your noses brushing each other. His twinkle eyes bore into yours and you swear they are the most beautiful thing you've ever seen, it was like stargazing.

“Because in the end, I decide who i want to be with and my heart decides who I love. And that’s you.” He confesses and you gasp, your heart flutters as butterflies erupt in your belly at his words.

“I love you Y/N,” he says looking into your eyes and you can’t help the giddy smile that’s stretches across your face, making Jungkook's face light up with his bunny smile.

“I love you too,” you say and he pulls you into another hug.
