I LOVE it when characters are awful actually! I LOVE it when characters cause conflict! I LOVE it when characters are horrible to everyone INCLUDING THEMSELVES!!! I LOVE it when a character turns themself into a bomb, slowly ticking down before taking everything with them! I LOVE it when characters hurt people and then when confronted by this DOUBLE DOWN ON THEIR BEHAVIOR!!!!

*obsesses over underdeveloped characters* if your writers won’t love you, I will.

I recently reread the manga with the black Goku arc where Zamasu kills Gowasu and then Trunks heals him. Now I'm thinking about the fact that Rumshi in the normal classical dimension (time stream???) literally died "for 15 minutes", after Gowasu's short death, and this probably scared Cus

Oh very likely, Anon, just seeing her destroyer vanish in front of her eyes, knowing this is erasure. She wasn't prepared for this, if an erasure happened, she would be informed by the Grand Minister or get his approval for erasure. But this was a total surprise for her and not a good one and then Rumsshi came back. She was sad, relieved, confused, and a mess and to see that happening again in the Tournament of Power in a short amount of time, I don't blame Cus mourning for his death, thinking this death is permanently.

I could not even imagine how she felt when Universe 10 came back and Rumsshi and Gowasu was revived once again, perhaps she is still scared again of losing her destroyer and supreme kai but at the same time, as long they are still alive by any means, that is all Cus wants. I do think that she think about how sad what happened to Gowasu but Rumsshi's brief death impacted her as very likely it happened in front of her without warning.

Freestyle Exercise I did today

This is from Creative Writing: A Workbook with Readings

I wanted to try something different and to improve my writing in general.

Here's what I wrote during the timed freestyle (which was 5 mins because I wanted to try different times):

The truth is I always wanted this baby to live - a fragment of our divine love. Impossible to create even by the lords of creators.

I take it off. A veil of regrets I learnt to sew and mend to conceal my happiness and anxiety, appease the Grand Minister's capricious mood in public to ensure a path to obtain his favour in the future still opens. Prophesy fresh in my Father's fear. Beginning of the End inside me, he says. If this child growing in my womb, its heavenly garden continue nurturing Little One, manage to defile the sword of prophesy that kills them - I am already proud of them.

I will not look at you.

Father's words rang well, may he don't peek until the child is born. For the first time, I can put my hand on my belly without any restrictions, feeling life moving in me.
